Scrap Truck

The Vapid Scrap Truck is a two-seat utility truck built to carry scrap and salvage. Its cab takes its design from the Yankee, but has a flat hood, a different grille, exposed door hinges, roof marker lights and trumpet horns. Fuel tanks and side steps sit below the cab, while small tanks are mounted behind it. The rear carries a large wooden-sided bed, sometimes empty and sometimes loaded with discarded appliances.

Rogers Salvage and Scrap operates the truck. It appears only in a rusty condition, with industrial wheels shared with vehicles such as the Phantom and Mule. In Grand Theft Auto V, it can rarely be encountered on highways while driving a Pony, and appears more often in Blaine County, especially around Fort Zancudo. One spawns outside Red's Machine Supplies in Paleto Bay, and another sits north of the Los Santos Naval Port on Elysian Island.

The Scrap Truck is heavy, durable and steady through corners, even when moving quickly. Its long chassis gives it a wide turning circle, and acceleration is slow and unresponsive for its size, although it can build considerable speed. Its weight lets it force smaller cars off the road. It handles much like the Towtruck, but with lower speed and acceleration. In GTA Online's Fooligan Job: Crop Dustin', rednecks use one at the weed farm northwest of Cherry Pie Farm when the herbicide Sadler is at Procopio Truck Stop.
