Trailer (tanker)

The Trailer (tanker) is a Brute tanker trailer built around a large cylindrical fuel cell on a twin axle chassis. It wears an orange RON livery with white end caps, RON logos and fuel-related warning markings. The tank carries rails along its sides, covers on top, a rear ladder and extraction pipes. Its chassis has a front stand, rear bumper, circular lights, black fenders and industrial wheels derived from the Benson, Mule and Phantom.

It cannot be driven independently and must be towed by a Barracks Semi, Docktug, Hauler, Phantom, Phantom Wedge or Packer. Its weight puts substantial drag on a semi truck and promotes understeer. The exposed tank can leak fuel under gunfire and may explode after being struck by another vehicle or caught in nearby explosions. A burning tanker eventually explodes, often setting its towing truck on fire as well.

Tanker trailers travel Blaine County highways behind Phantoms, Packers and Haulers. They are parked at RON stations in El Burro Heights, South Los Santos and Paleto Bay, at the Sandy Shores gas station, Terminal's trailer parking area, and near Devin Weston's hangar at LSIA. The trailer appears during Legal Trouble and The Big Score's Subtle approach, and is used in GTA Online jobs involving Lamar Davis, Trevor, The Lost, the Rednecks and the destruction of oil tankers.
