Pump Shotgun

The Pump Shotgun is Shrewsbury's 12 gauge, pump-action shotgun, also called the Shotgun. It carries eight shells and uses a modernised design with a pistol-grip housing compatible with AR-15 grips, an M4-style Magpul MOE stock and a pump fitted with side Picatinny rails. Its layout recalls the Combat Shotgun. A flashlight can light dark interiors, while a suppressor reduces its report at the cost of damage.

Ammu-Nation sells the Pump Shotgun for $1,200 after Repossession. Franklin can pick one up beside the orange Bison after leaving the garage in that mission, and can buy it with a flashlight during The Long Stretch. Trevor has one from Mr. Philips onward, while Michael receives one for the subtle approach to The Big Score. It also appears in a Galilee trailer, in submerged structures near Submarine parts, and at the Merryweather Security Cargo Plane crash site in the Alamo Sea after Minor Turbulence.

The weapon is issued to LSPD, NOOSE, SAHP/NYSP, Fort Zancudo military personnel and Blaine County sheriff's deputies, and threatened Los Santos food-shop clerks may draw one. Entering police and sheriff cruisers can award it. In GTA Online, one rests in the Lost MC Clubhouse during First Dose 2 - Designated Driver and another is on a B2 Nightclub desk. It sees use in The Fleeca Job and The Humane Labs Raid. Its damage and accuracy suit close quarters, but its low rate of fire and short range leave it behind stronger shotguns later on.
