The Lake Sturgeon is a large, powerful bottom-feeding fish in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. It lives in deep water in southern lakes and swamps, and is more active when the weather is overcast. Lake Lures, which are man-made, are the lure type that works best on this fish.
In West Elizabeth, Lake Sturgeon appear in the south-western part of Flat Iron Lake. In Lemoyne, they inhabit the Lagras swamps and the Kamassa River south and west of Lagras, as well as the coast east of Bluewater Marsh and the waters around Gill Landing, including its nearby islands.
As a strong, large fish, the Lake Sturgeon offers more resistance than smaller catches. It can be caught for Flaky Fish Meat. A huge Legendary Lake Sturgeon is said to be near the delta of the Lannahechee River in New Austin.
