Perch are fish found in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. They are small fish that feed close to the water's surface, taking algae and water plants. Though small, they provide tasty meat. Perch are widespread across rivers and lakes, and rumours place a Legendary Perch somewhere in the Roanoke Ridge region.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, Perch occur in Ambarino, New Hanover and West Elizabeth. They can be caught in Little Creek River, the Dakota River north of Diablo Ridge, Lake Isabella, Owanjila and its rivers north and south of the dam, Moonstone Pond, Hani's Bethel, O'Creagh's Run, the Kamassa River north of Bluewater Marsh, and along the shores of Annesburg.
Perch take several kinds of food bait, with bread particularly effective. They are most active in sunny weather. Catching one provides Flaky Fish Meat, making these common river and lake fish a source of food.
