The Pig is a domestic animal in Red Dead Redemption 2, based on Sus scrofa domesticus. Its listed varieties are the Berkshire pig, Big China pig, Old spot pig and Collared Peccary pig. It is livestock rather than a wild animal, usually kept on farms and around settled parts of the map.
Pigs appear at farms and near communities across several regions. They can be found around Valentine, Saint Denis, Butcher Creek and Armadillo, as well as Cholla Springs, Scarlett Meadows, Braithwaite Manor, Rhodes, the Heartlands, Granger's Hoggery, Downes Ranch and Flatneck Station. They are also found on Guarma.
A killed pig provides Pig Skin, Tender Pork Loin and Animal Fat, with one to three pork loins available from an animal. Its Pig Carcass can also be collected. These materials make pigs a source of food, fat, skins and carcasses.
