Mammatus

The Jobuilt Mammatus is a four-seat, single-engine general aviation monoplane with a small high-wing body. Its design draws on several Cessna aircraft and resembles the earlier Dodo, with a long fuselage, two-bladed propeller, nose and wing taxi lights, and covered landing gear. The cockpit uses basic aircraft instruments and a control stick. Although it has two doors, it carries four occupants, placing passengers in the rear seats when the front seats are occupied.

In Grand Theft Auto V, Mammatus aircraft fly around Los Santos. They sometimes land at Trevor's airstrip and may appear beside Michael's hangar at Los Santos International Airport. In Grand Theft Auto Online, Elitás Travel sells the Mammatus for $300,000 as a Pegasus vehicle. It can also spawn at the cargo section of Los Santos International Airport, beside Franklin's Hangar with a Velum or Mallard, and around the map during air-based Freemode Challenges.

The Mammatus accelerates well but has a low top speed, even trailing the Duster, which places it among the game's slowest planes. It needs little runway, though it can sink sharply after take-off. Its stable flight and low turbulence suit inexperienced pilots, while its landing speed lets it stop quickly. Its slow, controllable handling can also help with Knife Flight challenges, and its four seats make it a low-cost aircraft for transporting a crew in Grand Theft Auto Online.
