Velum

The Jobuilt Velum is a four-seat, fixed-wing monoplane in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. Its single propeller sits ahead of a long nose, with exhausts along either side and retractable nose gear beneath. Broad wings carry black leading sections, while the short tail has matching dark surfaces. The cabin has separate doors for the pilot and copilot, with two passenger seats behind them.

In Grand Theft Auto V, a Velum usually stands outside hangar A17 at Los Santos International Airport, south of the main terminal. Another is obtained by killing Tom during Delivering the Truth. That mission also uses a unique baby-blue Epsilon Program Velum, available only while the mission is active. In Grand Theft Auto Online, Elitás Travel sells the aircraft for $450,000, and it can sometimes appear at Sandy Shores Airfield.

The Velum ranks among the faster light aircraft, falling just short of the Mallard's top speed. It turns responsively and remains stable in the air, though its long wings make it less agile than some planes and it needs a long run for takeoff. Its durability is average, and the propeller can strike the ground on landing. Its speed and four seats make it useful for carrying crews in GTA Online. Base Invaders uses Ron Jakowski and Trevor Philips Industries' Velum to enter Fort Zancudo.
