Police Transporter

The Declasse Police Transporter is a four-door Emergency van in Grand Theft Auto V, built as a law-enforcement version of the second-generation Burrito passenger van. It carries four people. Its white and black bodywork bears Los Santos Police Department markings and the Los Santos city seal, while a bullbar, barred and armoured windows, dark tint and a fixed rotating halogen light bar distinguish it from the standard Burrito. It uses the same siren set as other police vehicles.

The Transporter sits higher than the Burrito and has slightly stronger acceleration. Its raised suspension keeps it composed over uneven ground and helps it stay balanced through corners. Armour plating protects much of the cabin, including the rear windows and windshield, though gaps in the front side protection leave occupants exposed to gunfire. The plating also prevents explosives from being used inside and limits first-person drive-bys to a 90-degree angle.

In Story Mode, Police Transporters appear at roadblocks throughout San Andreas once a three-star wanted level is active, usually blocking a lane beside a Spike Strip and an LSPD officer. They can also appear at Strawberry Station beneath the Olympic Freeway on Strawberry Avenue between 20:00 and 5:00. The van carries Spike Strips in the Subtle Approach setup Stingers for The Big Score. In GTA Online, it appears at three-star roadblocks and is hijacked during Business Raid: Cop Raid, Nightclub Management: Rescue Celebrity and the Police Rescue random event.
