Trailer (container)

The Trailer (container) is a Utility-class towable tractor trailer in Grand Theft Auto V. It uses the same chassis and unseen in-game name as several other trailers, with twin axles, front landing stands, side guards and a rear guard carrying circular lights. It appears in two forms: an off-gray, weathered container similar to the Dock Trailer's, or a blue curtain-side box with metal side curtains and straps along its lower edge. The rear doors are solid and do not open.

It is light for a trailer, allowing the trucks pulling it to travel faster than with the other trailer types. The Trailer itself cannot be driven and shares its handling with similar trailers. Barracks Semi, Docktug, Hauler, Packer, Phantom, Phantom (Happy Holidays), Phantom Wedge, Phantom Custom and Hauler Custom can tow it. It commonly travels behind Phantoms and Packers on freeways, while Haulers, Phantoms and Packers also haul it around the Dutch London Street off-ramps and slip roads in La Puerta.

The Trailer is common around Terminal, the Port of Los Santos and warehouses or parking lots near the port. It also appears at Murrieta Oil Field, on Panorama Drive opposite the Sandy Shores Airfield hangar, at gas stations including the Great Ocean Highway station near Del Perro Beach, and outside a warehouse or service area on Joshua Road north of Harmony. In Grand Theft Auto Online, it appears in traffic and in Haulage, Supplies Sell Missions involving Phantom Wedges, and Satellite Communications, where The Lost MC load satellite dishes into a Trailer attached to a Hauler.
