Combat MG Mk II

The Combat MG Mk II is a fully automatic 7.62mm custom machine gun in Grand Theft Auto Online, added with the Gunrunning update. It is the Mark II conversion of the Combat MG, with a cleaner, more modern body. Its design combines elements associated with the Mk 48 and Mk 43, including a Mk 48-like receiver and trigger assembly, a Mk 43-style barrel and front sight, a covered handguard with a lower rail, and a skeletal stock.

It is converted from a Combat MG at a Weapon Workshop for $119,000. The weapon carries 70 rounds per clip and has damage rated at 57, a fire rate of 65, accuracy of 45 and range of 60. It improves on the regular Combat MG's damage while retaining its rate of fire, placing sustained automatic fire at the centre of its role among machine guns.

A heavy barrel reduces the loss of damage over distance, while a muzzle brake, grip and scope improve accuracy and recoil control. The Combat MG Mk II accepts Tracer, Incendiary, Armor Piercing and Full Metal Jacket ammunition. These options respectively add visible tracers, a chance of fire, protection-piercing shots, or greater effectiveness against vehicles and bullet-resistant windows.
