Tactical SMG

The Vom Feuer Tactical SMG is a fully automatic 9mm submachine gun added to Grand Theft Auto Online with the San Andreas Mercenaries update. It has a 33-round magazine and sits in the machine guns category. Its design strongly resembles the Russian AEK-919K, while its lack of a vertical foregrip follows the civilian SPP-style configuration. The weapon is sold by the Gun Van for $325,000 when it is in stock, subject to any applicable discount.

The Tactical SMG is a broad improvement over the Micro SMG and ranks among the stronger submachine guns for damage output. Only weapons such as the Machine Pistol and Mini SMG exceed its damage per second, but the Tactical SMG carries more ammunition in its standard magazine than either. Its low recoil makes it controllable, although sustained fire reduces its accuracy and it loses effectiveness at longer distances.

It is most effective in close-range fighting and drive-by shooting, where its rapid automatic fire, manageable recoil and 33-round capacity reduce the need to reload. An Extended Clip raises the magazine capacity to 60 rounds. A Scope replaces the iron sights with an optical sight and permits shouldering the weapon while firing in third person, while a Suppressor silences its shots for close-quarters use.
