Combat PDW

The Coil Combat PDW is a fully automatic personal defense weapon listed among the machine guns, though it functions as a submachine gun. It arrives with the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 update and carries a 40 round magazine. Coil builds it as a hybrid compact firearm with an integrated suppressor. Its available attachments include a Scope, Grip, Flashlight and Extended Clip. Grand Theft Auto Online later adds a Drum Magazine through Further Adventures in Finance and Felony.

In the original version of Grand Theft Auto V, downloading its DLC places the Combat PDW in the protagonists' inventories. In the enhanced version, Ammu-Nation begins selling it for $11,750 after Military Hardware. Ammu-Nation also sells it in Grand Theft Auto Online at the same price, while a player's Facility can hold one in its security room. The Drum Magazine expands its ammunition capacity beyond the standard and Extended Clip options.

The Combat PDW has damage, fire rate, accuracy and range stats of 25, 50, 45 and 38. Its slow firing rate places it behind other submachine guns in volume of fire, but its shots hit hard for the class. The built-in suppressor does not reduce damage or range. Iron sights and effective reach let it operate at mid to long distances, while the suppressor makes it suited to fights where stealth matters.
