Digiscanner

The Digiscanner is a Handguns-class detector rather than a conventional firearm. It is a small, modern-looking device with a T-shaped aerial, two moving sensor wings, a readout, controls and side dials. Its design resembles the ghost-detecting equipment seen in The Real Ghostbusters, though its body is more streamlined.

It uses radar-like scanning to seek extraterrestrial entities and objects. The device flashes light blue when it detects a connection to an object and red when it does not. It has no offensive function, deals no damage and is harmless despite appearing in the Handguns class. Its listed handling shows a fire rate of 67, accuracy of 10, range of 35 and a clip size of 17.

Omega is a notable owner of the Digiscanner. Michael receives one from Marnie Allen, suggesting that the Epsilon Program also uses the device in its activities. An unused Ammu-Nation description associates it with LSPD officers scanning vehicle licence plates.
