Double-Action Revolver

The Double-Action Revolver is a double-action handgun revolver in Grand Theft Auto Online, introduced with The Doomsday Heist. It is a gold-plated weapon with light floral engraving and pearl grips. The upper part of its white grip panels bears the markings "D.D.P" and "Repeating Arms Co.", the latter being an arms manufacturer name from Red Dead Redemption II. Its firing sound is shared with the revolver used in Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption II.

The revolver is unlocked through a Treasure Hunt begun by an email from [email protected]. The first photograph points to one of twenty possible clue areas, after which three further clues can be collected in any order: a corpse in a cave by the river in Tongva Hills, an empty gun case at Joad Lane in Grapeseed, and a bloodied shovel in Sandy Shores. The final cache contains the weapon. Ammu-Nation subsequently sells its ammunition.

With damage rated at 70, accuracy at 65 and a six-round cylinder, the Double-Action Revolver is a powerful handgun with a slower fire rate rating of 35 and a range rating of 20. It fires faster than the Heavy Revolver, though each shot still requires a separate trigger pull on foot. A slow controller trigger press shows the cylinder turning before firing. When holstered on foot, the character spins it on a finger before placing it away. Obtaining it also makes it available in Red Dead Redemption II.
