Hazardous Jerry Can

The Hazardous Jerry Can is a Thrown hazardous chemical canister in Grand Theft Auto Online, introduced with The Diamond Casino Heist. It is a variant of the Jerry Can rather than a conventional explosive or incendiary weapon. Its orange-yellow body retains the standard Jerry Can markings, but its red warning labels are replaced with yellow ones, including a label reading "Chemicals Fire Hazard".

It handles much like the ordinary fuel can, pouring liquid from the container instead of firing a projectile. The Hazardous Jerry Can releases a brown chemical fluid where the Jerry Can leaves black fuel. Gunfire cannot ignite the chemical trail, and shooting the canister does not make it explode. Despite its name and weapon classification, it cannot harm other characters.

The can is issued only during the Diamond Casino Heist preparation mission "Maintenance Gear Part 2". It is used to pour chemicals over the casino's damaged air unit. The item disappears when that preparation is completed. Players could originally retain it for the rest of a session, but later updates prevented this and ultimately removed it from inventories outside the mission.
