Acid Package

The Acid Package is a Thrown weapon in Grand Theft Auto Online, added with the Los Santos Drug Wars update. It is a wrapped package of psychedelic drugs, covered in a Los Santos Meteor newspaper. Rather than functioning as a conventional weapon, it is a mission item used to move acid product through San Andreas without drawing police attention.

It appears during Acid Product Sell Missions, where it is delivered at designated drop-offs, and during the Paper Route Odd Job. In the sell missions, the package can normally be thrown only within the delivery areas. It can also be thrown while another weapon is being held, allowing it to be released beyond those areas.

The Acid Package handles much like Snowballs, Flares and Chop's Ball. It has no damage and little range, so it is not intended for combat. Only two thrown packages can remain active at once. Throwing a third removes the first package from the world.
