BZ Gas

BZ Gas is a Throwable Tear Gas weapon made by Hawk & Little. Developed by Humane Labs and Research, apparently for military use, it is a non-lethal incapacitating gas based on the United States military agent known by the NATO designation BZ. Though it resembles an ordinary tear gas canister and is treated as a separate weapon, it has no damage rating.

Its fire rate is 20, with 10 accuracy, 15 range and a capacity of 10. Its statistics otherwise resemble standard Tear Gas, but it does not injure NPCs. A canister dropped on a rooftop instead of thrown into a vent acts like regular Tear Gas, while BZ Gas is otherwise used to distract or incapacitate people in enclosed areas.

In Grand Theft Auto V, BZ Gas is available only with the smart approach to The Jewel Store Job. Michael steals the canisters from a Humane Labs Boxville in BZ Gas Grenades, then Franklin carries them during the heist and throws one into Vangelico's vent so Michael and the crew can rob the store. In Grand Theft Auto Online, it is used in The Gangbanger Robbery finale, where it is thrown through the Mission Row Police Station vents before King Tiny is released. It cannot be purchased.
