The SNS Pistol is a Shrewsbury compact pistol in the Handguns class, added to Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online with the Beach Bum Update. Its name abbreviates "Saturday Night Special", a term for a small, inexpensive firearm. The model is chambered for .45 ACB and fires semi-automatically. It is among the smallest guns in the series, with a barrel about as long as its grip and trigger guard, and wooden detailing on the grip.
Its design includes elements of the Colt Junior 25. The SNS Pistol delivers reasonable damage for a low-grade handgun, but its accuracy is poor and its range is exceptionally short, the lowest of any non-shotgun firearm. Its small magazine also limits it in sustained fights. Against NPCs, it generally requires several body shots, and it is outperformed by the other firearms available in the game.
In the enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto V, Ammu-Nation sells the SNS Pistol after "Repossession" for $2,750. It is also sold at Ammu-Nation in GTA Online for the same price. During an MC Guns for Hire Contact Mission, it can be obtained near the Strip Club. Its limited handling leaves it chiefly suited to taking another weapon from an opponent.
