The Crow is an American crow, Corvus brachyrhynchos, in Red Dead Redemption 2. It is a medium-sized black bird, usually seen flying with other crows. Its short beak and caw distinguish it from the Raven. Crows occur throughout the game world, although they are less common in New Austin.
A Crow yields Crow Feathers, Flight Feathers, Gamey Bird Meat and a Crow Carcass. Perfect specimens can be found perched near the cabin at Aurora Basin and at the dock house near the site of the Wreck of the Serendipity from the original Redemption. The birds used in the shooting competition random encounter are always Crows.
Crow carcasses are used in the Wildlife Art Exhibition task, "A Better World, A New Friend." A perfect Crow carcass must be sent to Ms. L. Hobbs for that task. Killing Crows feeding on a corpse also counts toward Rank 6 of the Survivalist Challenge.
