Rusted Double Bit Hatchet

The Rusted Double Bit Hatchet is a rare melee hatchet in Red Dead Redemption 2. Its weathered double-bladed head has a razor-sharp edge intended for chopping and cutting, while its other, duller side is made for splitting wood. It has been left exposed to the elements and cannot be customized.

It is lodged in a tree stump in Annesburg, in Roanoke Ridge, near the Annesburg Mine. The stump lies north of the coal mining building in the town's center. There is no purchase or reward involved in acquiring it.

Despite its unusual rusted appearance, the Rusted Double Bit Hatchet functions like the regular hatchet and is largely decorative beside it. It can be used in close combat or thrown. Like the other unique hatchets, it must be recovered after a throw, or it can be lost.
