Stone Hatchet

The Stone Hatchet is a unique melee weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2, presented as a lost relic from the old frontier. It cannot be customized. Like the other unique hatchets, it can be used at close range or thrown at a target.

Its Red Dead Redemption 2 appearance requires an active GTA Online account. It is found at the Native Burial site north of Owanjila, northwest of Strawberry in Big Valley, West Elizabeth.

In GTA Online, completing five bounty targets for Maude Eccles reveals the Stone Hatchet's location. Making 25 kills with it unlocks it in Red Dead Redemption 2. When thrown, it must be recovered: unlike dropped main weapons, it does not return automatically to the Weapons Wheel, and can be lost if left behind.
