Battle Axe

The Battle Axe is a Melee weapon in Grand Theft Auto Online, added with the Bikers update. It is an axe-hammer with the broad blade of a bearded axe and a spiked hammer head on the reverse. Its design is presented as a weapon from the Medieval era. The Battle Axe has damage and fire rate ratings of 15, while its range rating is 0.

Ammu-Nation sells the Battle Axe for $9,500. It can also appear in the hands of Altruist Cult members during a bunker resupply job. The weapon is carried in the Melee class as an axe, rather than as a firearm or throwable weapon.

In use, the Battle Axe performs the same as the Hatchet in damage, attack speed and reach. It can kill enemies quickly at close range, and it is suitable for stealth executions. Like the Hatchet, it remains available for melee attacks while riding a motorcycle.
