Homing Launcher

The Hawk & Little Homing Launcher is a Heavy weapon and single-shot rocket launcher introduced in Grand Theft Auto V with the Festive Surprise update. It is a shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile launcher with an exposed warhead, a tracking antenna and a trigger guard. Markings on its body identify it as San Andreas Government property. Its ten-round capacity is lower than the standard Rocket Launcher's, but its missiles are built to pursue vehicles.

The launcher can acquire targets on ground vehicles and aircraft, marking a selected vehicle with a lock-on box before firing. It can also launch rockets without a lock. Its missiles travel quickly, pursue targets over an exceptional distance and may circle back after missing a player-controlled aircraft, especially a helicopter. A direct hit can disable aircraft engines or tear away parts, though heavily protected vehicles withstand it better than they do Rocket Launcher fire.

In the original version of the campaign, all three protagonists receive the Homing Launcher in their weapon inventories when the update is installed. In the enhanced version, Ammu-Nation sells it after Minor Turbulence for $15,500. In Grand Theft Auto Online, one can also be found in the first bedroom off the left hallway of a Galaxy Super Yacht, beside a Proximity Mine, or on the upper level of the player's Hangar above the exit.
