Nightstick

The Nightstick is a black, single-handed T-baton in the Melee class. In Grand Theft Auto V, its model has more detail than earlier versions while retaining the weapon's basic baton shape. In the enhanced version, an LSPD officer badge appears above the handle, most clearly when it is viewed in first person. It carries damage rated at 10, a fire rate of 15 and range rated at 1.

After completing I Fought the Law..., the Nightstick is sold by Ammu-Nation for $100. It can also be taken from dead security guards. Police officers at LSIA may rarely leave one behind if they are killed before drawing a weapon. Its police issue appearance matches these sources, and it is generally carried by law enforcement officers.

The compact baton strikes quickly and reaches farther than fists, though its reach falls short of most club-type melee weapons. Its damage matches the Hammer and Crowbar. It attacks in a manner similar to the Baseball Bat, but its smaller, one-handed form is used for fast close-range blows and for knocking down opponents with more force than unarmed attacks.
