Stunt Plane Time Trials

After "Franklin and Lamar", a Mallard is parked outside the plane hangar at Sandy Shores Airfield. In the Special/Collector's Edition and Enhanced versions, Michael, Franklin and Trevor can each use it to begin the Stunt Plane Time Trials. The five optional challenges are separate from Flight School, and the results earned in them are shared by all three protagonists.

A session begins when one of the protagonists climbs into the Mallard and selects a course. A clock starts as the aircraft follows its marked route through successive points. The courses demand low flying as well as inverted flight, knife flights and loops, with the Mallard passing beneath, above or through bridges and other obstacles before the final point ends the run.

Bridge Binge sends the Mallard along low bridges. Vinewood Flyby crosses the Vinewood hills and their landmarks, while Engineered Bridgework threads a more complicated set of bridges. Airport Flyby takes the aircraft through LSIA and between skyscrapers. Altitude keeps the route close to the ground, ending when the Mallard reaches its last point.
