Surveying The Score

Trevor, Michael and Franklin meet Lester in Trevor's office at the Vanilla Unicorn in Strawberry to prepare for the Union Depository robbery. With only a limited window to gather intelligence, they divide the work. Michael takes Franklin to the Union Depository while Trevor leaves with Lester to trace the route used by the security vans. The two pairs agree to complete their surveillance before the opportunity closes.

Michael drives Franklin to the Union Depository and studies the building's access points. They inspect the front entrance, then move around to look over the garage entrance at the rear. Both approaches appear to have light security. Their examination complete, the perspective shifts to Trevor as he drives Lester out of Los Santos toward Sandy Shores Airfield.

At the airfield, Trevor and Lester board Trevor's Frogger and fly back toward Murrieta Heights. They locate two Securicars travelling through the city and shadow them from above. Trevor proposes several possible places to intercept the convoy, but Lester dismisses each one. The vans eventually disappear into a tunnel beneath Integrity Tower, then emerge and enter the Union Depository through its garage access.

Lester decides the tunnel is the place to strike the security vans and asks Trevor to check the nearby Los Santos Transit excavation for an escape route. Trevor hovers the helicopter over the construction entrance while Lester examines the site. Trevor then returns him to Sandy Shores Airfield. The perspective returns to Michael, who drives Franklin home to Vinewood Hills and leaves him there.
