Sticky Bombs

Sticky Bombs are Thrown explosives made from two M112 C-4 sticks taped to a remote-controlled time bomb. Each device has a small red marker light and emits a subdued beep once placed. They adhere to surfaces and vehicles, then detonate on command, allowing explosions to be timed rather than relying on a grenade's fuse. Their 95 damage rating and remote trigger make them useful for demolition, vehicle traps, drive-bys and attacks on heavily armoured targets. They are also more effective against tanks than ordinary explosions, but can be destroyed by gunfire or detonated by a vehicle striking them on a wall.

After Friends Reunited, Sticky Bombs are sold by Ammu-Nation for $800. Wade gives Trevor a supply during Friends Reunited for use against the trailers. Michael receives them for the freighter plan in The Merryweather Heist and during Derailed, while Franklin is issued them in Blitz Play and for the obvious approach to The Big Score. The protagonists use them to destroy targets, attach explosives to vehicles and set off blasts from a safe distance.

Loose Sticky Bombs can be found on the second floor of the unfinished building at Vespucci Boulevard and Prosperity Street in Vespucci Canals, in a yard in West Vinewood, around underwater wrecks, and beneath the train bridge in Banning. More appear at the Merryweather cargo plane crash site north of Stab City in the Alamo Sea after Minor Turbulence. In Grand Theft Auto Online, they become available from Ammu-Nation at Rank 19, and can also be found during a Bunker resupply Rival Operation, in a Facility security room with the Security upgrade, and on the Hangar catwalk above the sleeping quarters.
